About
The Boating Centre is a centre of excellence for all things Marine. We have over thirty years of dedication and experience at the highest standard of marine engineering, boat sales, marine surveying and training.
Instructors
Our fully qualified RYA instructors are trained to a high standard, have first aid qualifications and are all subject to ongoing assessment by an independent inspector. They have extensive knowledge, backed up with practical experience from a range of marine backgrounds.

The boat
Our school boat, a Highfield 6.6m RIB, is kitted out to a high specification and is fitted with a Honda BF200hp four-stroke outboard engine. The boat is capable of handling a wide range of situations and sea conditions in utmost safety.

Onshore training takes place in our fully equipped classroom in The Boating Centre. As much time as possible is spent out on the water, training is carried out in Lyme Bay bay where you will complete the practical elements of the course.
