RPM Sea School is a Royal Yachting Association (RYA) training centre providing courses for Power Boat level 2, ICC (International Certificate of Competence) and RYA Diesel Engine training. We have been a recognised training facility for over twenty years and have successfully trained hundreds of students.

Whether you are a sport and leisure boat user, commercial, or if you just fancy giving it a go and need a professional and thorough introduction to being on the water. Our courses will provide you with the knowledge and ability to operate with the safety and confidence required to become a responsible boat handler, boat owner or crew member. A number of our past students now work on international yachts, boat deliveries, film crew transportation and nature conservation.
Courses are scheduled throughout the year or can be run on demand, during the week or at weekends, we are happy to fit into your schedule. Training takes place in our dedicated classroom at The Boating Centre with as much time as possible spent out on the water at Lyme Regis in our school training boat. Each course caters for a maximum of three students to one instructor which ensures that each student receives maximum attention and helm time, resulting in an enjoyable and efficient course programme. There is always plenty of opportunity to ask questions at any stage during the training process.
